DAIRY ASIA AND THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the world leaders in September 2015
represent the aspirations of a global community in addressing a wide range of global issues, including
eradication of hunger and poverty, health, climate change, economic development, human rights
and gender equality. The Asian dairy sector is strongly positioned to help reach the SDGs.
