The third meeting of the Global Agenda for Sustainable Livestock (GASL) for Europe and Central Asia was held in Antalya, Turkey, from 10 to 12th October 2023. In the event participated +30 participants from 14 countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Mr. Batbaatar Bayarmagnai, CEO and coordinator, Dairy Asia attended in the regional meeting, jointly delivered the presentation with the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia and National Federation of Mongolian Pasture Users groups, and introduced the proposed initiatives from Dairy Asia dialogue to establish the World Yak Association and World Bactrian Camel Association in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The regional meeting gave a good opportunity to build an initial cooperation between Dairy Asia and Central Asian countries where an unique yak and camel husbandry are there well existed.
